FAQ
PROOF PROCESS
After you place an order at our online store, we will send you a proof approval mock-up email within 24-48 hours. This email will contain a digital mock-up of the design for your approval. Please carefully review the design and let us know if any changes need to be made. If you are happy with the design, simply reply to the email to approve it.
If you do not reply to the proof approval email within 3 days of receiving it, the design will be automatically approved and the order will move forward into production. Please note that once the design is approved, changes cannot be made.
We aim to send the proof approval mock-up email within 24-48 hours of receiving your order. The time it takes for you to approve the design and for us to move forward into production will depend on how quickly you reply to the email.
Are you excited to see your custom stickers come to life? We want to make sure you're completely satisfied with your order, which is why we offer a preview of your stickers before they go into production. After you place your order with us, we'll email you a proof mock-up design for you to review and approve. This gives you the chance to make sure everything is just the way you want it before we start printing. Once you give us the go-ahead, we'll get to work on your stickers and get them to you as soon as we can. Just be sure to check your junk mail in case you haven't heard from us - we don't want you to miss out on this important step! With our preview process, you can be confident that your custom stickers will turn out exactly the way you want them to.
Our order form currently accepts files up to 20mb in size. If you have a file that is larger than 20mb, you can use a file uploader application such as Dropbox or WeTransfer to send us the file. Dropbox allows you to upload the file to a specific folder and share the access with us via our Contact form. WeTransfer is a free service that allows you to send files up to 2GB in size. Once we receive the proper file, we will assist you in completing the ordering process.
artwork guidelines
To ensure the best possible quality for your stickers, we require a minimum image resolution of 300dpi. This will help prevent any blurriness or pixelation when the image is printed. If you're not sure about the resolution of your images, you can check by looking at the dimensions or using a free online DPI checker. By following these guidelines, you can be confident that your stickers will turn out clear and crisp every time.
For optimal readability, we recommend a minimum text size of 8 points. This size may need adjustment based on the sticker's overall size and the chosen font. Decorative or script fonts often require a larger size for clarity. You can use different text sizes within the same sticker to emphasize key information. It's important to maintain adequate spacing between lines and characters for legibility. The maximum text size is typically constrained by the sticker dimensions, and while the color contrast between text and background significantly affects readability, the text size itself does not directly impact the pricing of your custom sticker. If your design necessitates smaller text than our recommendation, please contact our team for specialized assistance.
Once your artwork has been approved, it will typically be sent to production either the same day or the next day. However, if you need to make any changes to your artwork after approval, it is important to contact us as soon as possible. Changes cannot be made once the printing process has started. To avoid any delays or mistakes in production, make sure to double check all details and information before giving the final approval for production. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help ensure that your stickers turn out exactly as you envision them!
We do not currently offer metallic or white ink options for our custom die cut stickers. We use a printing process that involves the use of nine different colored inks, including cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, light black, light light black, and orange. However, we are unable to produce metallic or white ink colors at this time.
Sizing
When it comes to choosing the size of your stickers, it's important to consider a few key factors. Here are some tips to help you make the best decision:
1. Purpose: Think about what you plan to use your stickers for. Will they be going on a laptop or water bottle? A car or window? The size of your stickers should match their intended use.
2. Audience: Who will be seeing your stickers? If they're for children, you may want to go with a smaller size. If they're for adults, a larger size may be more effective.
3. Budget: Stickers come in a variety of sizes and prices. If you're working with a limited budget, choosing a smaller size may be the way to go.
4. Personal preference: Ultimately, the size of your stickers should be based on what you like best. Use a ruler to get a sense of the size you prefer and go from there.
In the end, the size of your stickers is all about finding the right balance between your needs and preferences. Keep these tips in mind and you'll be sure to find the perfect size for your stickers.
Are you wondering what size your artwork is or not sure what size you want to go? No problem! Here's a simple method to measure it:
1. Open your artwork on a computer and use the zoom function to adjust the size to your desired measurements.
2. Grab a ruler and carefully measure the width and height of the image in centimeters.
3. Record these measurements and voila! You now know the size of your artwork.
Pro tip: Make sure to measure the width and height at their longest points to get the most accurate size for your artwork. Happy measuring!
Yes, you can still include metallic or white elements in your sticker design. However, please note that these elements will be printed using our standard nine-color ink set, which may result in colors that differ slightly from what you had in mind. We recommend using bright or light colors for areas where you would like a metallic or white effect, as this can help to create a similar appearance.
